Water Damage

Water damage restoration in San Diego. On site fast. Dried right.

When water gets where it doesn't belong, every hour matters. We arrive with truck-mount extractors, commercial air movers, and refrigerant dehumidifiers, then dry to industry standard so mold doesn't follow. IICRC-trained crews. Photos and moisture logs your insurance carrier will accept.

What do homeowners ask about Water Damage?

How fast can you be at my house?

We aim for 60 to 90 minutes anywhere in San Diego County, day or night. During atmospheric rivers and major storms, response times stretch — we still answer the phone and give you an honest ETA. Call as soon as you can and start getting standing water out (mop, shop vac, towels). Every hour the water sits, the damage doubles.

Will my insurance cover this?

Most sudden and accidental water losses — burst pipes, supply line failures, appliance leaks, storm intrusion — are covered under standard homeowners policies. Long-term seepage, gradual leaks, and ground water (without a flood policy) usually are not. We document everything from the start so your adjuster has what they need, and we bill your carrier directly on approved claims.

Do I have to throw out my carpet and pad?

Not always. Clean-water (Category 1) carpet can usually be saved with extraction, in-place drying, and a fresh pad. Category 2 (gray water — washing machine, dishwasher) often saves the carpet, replaces the pad. Category 3 (sewage, flood water, long-soaked) — carpet and pad both have to go. We make the call based on the IICRC S500 standard, not what's profitable for us.

How long does the drying process take?

Three to five days is typical for a residential water loss. Day 1 we extract, set up air movers and dehumidifiers, and take baseline moisture readings. Day 2-4 we monitor daily and adjust equipment. Day 5 we verify dry standard. Big losses, hardwood floors, or saturated framing can stretch to 7-10 days.

Do you handle the rebuild too?

We handle the mitigation side — extraction, drying, demo, antimicrobial. For rebuild (drywall, paint, flooring, cabinets), we coordinate with our trusted GC partners or work alongside your preferred contractor. Our scope and your rebuild scope flow into one insurance claim.

Found mold behind the laundry-room baseboard during a remodel. They contained the area, set up scrubbers, removed the affected drywall, and brought in an independent tester for the clearance. Done right, no shortcuts.

Slab leak under the kitchen. They worked alongside our plumber, dried the cabinets in place with InjectiDry, and saved us from gutting the whole kitchen. Daily moisture readings sent to our adjuster.
